Our Clinical Training Sites
Your training is centered across two state-of-the-art locations, providing a comprehensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient medicine.
Northern Westchester Hospital (NWH): Located in Mount Kisco, NWH is the heart of our program and the site for all of your inpatient rotations.
Chappaqua Crossing: Just three miles down the road, this modern facility is home to our outpatient training. It features a beautiful 3,500 sq. ft. resident continuity practice with its own dedicated educational space, as well as our subspecialty clinics.
A key perk for residents: Parking is free and abundant at both locations.

Program Signals & Key Facts
Program Signals: We preferentially review and offer interviews to applicants who signal our program. However, we do offer interviews to applicants who do not signal our program. Regional preferences are also considered but are not heavily weighted.
Program Size: We are a close-knit program of 32 residents total.
Annual Positions: 8 Categorical and 8 Preliminary positions per year.
Chief Residents: 2 Chief Residents per year.
Application & Eligibility Criteria
We participate exclusively in the NRMP Match and accept applications only through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).
Application Deadline: November 1st.

Graduation Date: Applicants must have graduated from medical school within 3 years of the application date.
Exam Scores: We do not have minimum score requirements, but applicants must pass all USMLE/COMLEX exams on their first attempt. A passing Step 2 score is required to be ranked, but not to apply.
Visa Sponsorship: Our program sponsors the J-1 visa. Candidates must be eligible for sponsorship under the criteria set forth by the ECFMG.
Interview Process & Timeline
Format: All interviews will be conducted virtually via Zoom.
Application Review: Applications are reviewed from early October through November. Applicants are encouraged to apply early.
Interview Invitations: The first round of invitations is sent in mid-October. Invitations continue on a rolling basis based on availability. We use Thalamus to manage all interview scheduling.
Interview Dates: Interviews are held from late October through January.
Interview Day: The virtual interview day runs from approximately 11:30 am to 3:00 pm EST and is designed to convey the spirit and culture of our program. You will receive a final schedule and Zoom link approximately one week prior to your interview.
Post-Interview Communication
In the spirit of fairness and in alignment with AAIM/NRMP guidelines, we discourage routine thank you notes. These communications will not receive a reply and their absence will not impact your ranking. We will gladly answer any clarifying questions that may arise after your interview, and contact information will be provided on your interview day.
