Welcome to the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Northern Westchester Hospital!
TThank you for your interest in our program. This is a landmark year for us, as we have proudly welcomed our third class of interns and now have our full complement of residents from PGY-1 to PGY-3. This milestone marks the maturation of our core residency and the foundation for our next phase of growth.
Our commitment is to build not just a great residency, but a complete academic ecosystem. Our subspecialty fellowship development is proceeding in planned phases. Formal applications have been submitted to the ACGME for our first phase of fellowships, with a projected launch of July 2027:
Pulmonary Disease & Critical Care Medicine
Sleep Medicine
This will be followed by the development of our next phase of programs, projected to launch in July 2028:
Cardiovascular Disease
Hematology & Medical Oncology
This dedication to graduate medical education is an institutional priority. Northern Westchester Hospital will also be launching new residency programs in General Surgery and Obstetrics & Gynecology in July 2027.
